Ah man, where to begin???

Well, first of all, I had been waiting years for this game, and when it was only 4 days away from release, I decided to pre-order it.

Anyway, I found out that they despatched it on the tuesday before the game was headed for the stores on the thursday, and believe it or not, it arrived the very next day. So.........when I opened the post, it was a case of:

"Ah sweet, this is so rad!"

Heh, moving on.

I completed it a few hours ago with an overall ranking of Eagle (which basically means I went mental with headshots, but got an A for it, so it's alright lol). However, I started tranq'ing people more than killing them through a great portion of the game, as it was more fun.

Getting headshots from a mile away (quite literally), without looking down the gun sight in a split second is so rewarding!

It's a shame that the whole series is over for Big Boss and Solid Snake now, but it was one heck of an exit for the franchise!!!!

Raiden (who I thought was a pretty cool character in mgs2, regardless of what others think) pretty much stole the show for a lot of the game. A lot of you are still playing through it, so I won't throw any spoilers in. However, his actions and the choreography is amazing. Best that I've ever seen in any game to date, and I'm not just saying that.

I always liked the Metal Gear games, but didn't ever get that "wow" feeling, yet somehow this fourth one has made me feel all warm inside, like you feel when you get excited as a kid, as it's just so amazing.

The storyline is brilliant, pretty much fills in all of the plot holes from the previous games, and the whole entire story is pretty well thought out.

The action was taken to a whole new level, and in my opinion is the only game which I have played (ps3 and 360), which truly feels like a next generation title.

Kojima really has done well with this final mission for Snake, and for an end cutscene going on for an hour and a half, and still not seeming boring, I think the whole Kojima team, and Konami in general have pulled off something huge and majorly impressive.

It's a game that makes any PS3 owner proud to have such a title on their console. A true masterpiece!

Random things and holiday

Right, well I'm going on holiday for two weeks, but am taking the laptop with me, along with my graphics tablet, so hopefully when I come back, I'll have some more things to put up.

Anyway, still a long way off from becoming what I'd class as "good" at colouring, but we'll see.

Need to work on lighting, perspective, texturing and skin tones, so pretty much I need to improve in all aspects.

Watched Ergo Proxy, and really love the series, so expect some fanart of that to be put up at some point. Already started on Iggy.

Might do some Kingdom Hearts fanart too, and hopefully it'll help me to imagine different scenes and character poses and expressions for making my own things up again.

Ah well, hopefully I'll get there one day. If anyone has any tips for me on where to start, or how do improve, then it'd be very much appreciated.

Alright, thanks, hope all of you are well. :)

Unreal Tournament 3

Has anyone played this yet? It's absolutely amazing.

It's definitely one of the best games I've played in a while, and if you browse the internet, you'll find a demo on gamespot and other websites. :)

It's crazy, and the hoverboards rock.
